| FAQ'S. Q.> When and where does the game take place? This game takes place in the year 2023, at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Albus Severus is 16 while Harry Potter is 43 if that helps you place your timelines. In other words, this game will have spoilers from Deathly Hallows! Q.> What happened to Harry and all the others? According to an interview with JKR (found here), both Harry and Ron now work at the Auror Department at the Ministry of Magic. Hermione is “pretty high up” in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, Luna is still out chasing Nargles while from the Epilogue we know that Neville now teaches at Hogwarts. The others aren’t mentioned and free for the player’s interpretation. Q.> More grandchildren? In a later interview, JKR also decided that almost every single Weasley sibling ended up having kids, etc, etc, we won't be keeping up with all her new babies born during her interviews. Aside from the Potter children and the Granger-Weasley children mentioned in the epilogue, the only other pair of children we're adding to the list are the younger Delacour-Weasley children. That's a lot of Weasley kids right there. The other Weasley kids we'll assume to have either graduated or are in their first-third year and not part of our cast. Luna's kids? Thankfully JKR did mention she had them a lot later than her friends which would place Luna's twins in their first-third year or not yet in Hogwarts. Even if JKR lands us with anymore surprise babies during her future interviews, we won't be adding them to our cast list or force pre-existing characters to change. Q.> What about the Delacour-Weasley children? We took a bit of creative license with them. Since JKR never specified their age, we took the liberty of making them twins in their fourth year. After over a month of open applications, we noticed a general lack of interest in fourth years in general so we decided to merge the fourth years into the fifth, sixth and seventh years. As one of the Delacour-Weasley children was already casted, we ended up bumping them into fifth year. Q.> How many characters am I allowed to have? You are allowed to app for a maximum of two characters right off the bat. In order to get your third you must first demonstrate that you can be active and keep up storylines for both of your current two characters for a month before applying for your third. And for your fourth, show activity for your three current for a month, etc Q.> Why are we not allowed to take up a character from say the Trio year, etc? We only want to incorporate the student and staff in the game currently. We may or may not change this later on, depending on interaction outside of Hogwarts, but for now the game will pertain to just student and staff only. Q.> Will there be any close relationships allowed between staff members and students? Aside from the rare case of family, relationships between staff and students are expected to remain at a professional level. We would prefer not to see students and teachers getting romantic with each other, please respect that. Q.> And between students? Go ahead! However, do keep in mind not to turn the game into Snogwarts. No unplanned (or any) sort of pregnancies happening please, sneaking into other dorms of different houses is against the rules and remember that the stairs to the female dorms do turn into slides when males try to enter. In other words, please don’t turn this game into a smut game. As for slash, male or female is allowed but do keep in mind that not every Tom, Dick and Sally is homosexual or bi. ;) Q.> What is the In Game time? If today is Wednesday the 27th then it is Wednesday the 27th in the game. The month will be counted from when the game started. Q.> What if you didn't answer my question here?
